FAIRFAX, Va. – The Saint Joseph's women's track team completed a two-day meet on Saturday in the Dalton Ebanks Invitational, hosted by George Mason.
FRIDAY TRACK RESULTS
- Camille Bertin opened the meet for the Hawks in the 400m hurdles, finishing with a time of 1:08.71. Bertin's time narrowly missed out by four-tenths on a new personal best.
- Majken Lutzen finished fifth in a deep 800m field, crossing the finish line in 2:09.38 to lead a group of seven Hawks. Quinn O'Brien finished just outside a scoring position with a ninth-place time of 2:13.20 to take nearly two seconds off her previous PR. Alexis Westawski also finished with a PR with a time of 2:16.06, freshman Gemma Chevoor following close behind with a 2:17.63 finish. Samantha Korck (2:18.70), Alyssa Bloxton (2:24.02) and Alexis Doherty (2:24.13) rounded out the action for the Hawks, Bloxton making her debut in the event.
- Grace Rudder produced the best result for St. Joe's in the 5000m, closing Friday's action with a time of 17:50.80 to smash her PR by more than 30 seconds. Rookie Sabrina Paz followed her sophomore counterpart with a debut time of 18:09.90. Grace Fennell (18:20.05) and Emily Peifer (19:06.48) closed out the event.
SATURDAY TRACK RESULTS
- The Hawks opened Saturday's action with the 4x100m relay, the team of Olivia Binns, Sammy Walz, Cecilia Abruzzo and Judith Walker finishing with a 47.76s pace to place fifth.
- Jessica Rubio finished .13s off of a scoring position in the 400m, posting a time of 57.45s to place ninth. Olivia Beddow yielded a time of 59.15s to set a new PR while Stephanie Cristinzio recorded a sub-60 time at 59.87s. Alessandra Schuster rounded out the group with a time of 1:01.73.
- Two teams entered the field for the 4x400m relay. The team of Rubio, Walz, Lutzen and Bloxton finished fourth with a time of 3:49.47, while Beddow, Cristinzio, Westawski and Chevoor placed seventh after crossing the line in 3:56.10.
- Ava Curry tallied a seventh-place finish in the 1500m, leading a group of five Hawks in the event with her time of 4:32.07. Maura Keane added a personal-best time of 4:46.98 before freshman Danika Slits finished in 4:51.21. Danielle Juliano (4:56.50) and Carolyn Smith (4:57.66) rounded out the contingency.
- Madison Buddenbohn secured the top spot in the meet finale, recording a time of 38:16.16 in the 10000m. Lauren Charboneau recorded a time of 39:40.16 in her debut in the event.

The Hawks return to action next weekend, staying within the state to take part in the Bison Outdoor Classic. Action is slated to start Friday, April 11.
