ORLANDO, Fla. – The 10th-seeded Saint Joseph's women's tennis team fell to seventh-seeded Davidson, 4-1, in the opening round of the 2025 Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship at the USTA National Campus on Thursday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Davidson won a tightly contested doubles point with wins in the first and third flights; Charlotte Kordonowy and Brooke Tackett were level at 5-5 when their match was halted.
 
• Wiktoria Czerny rolled to a straight-sets win in the first singles flight, but the Wildcats took the fourth, fifth, and sixth flights to secure the overall match victory.  Kordonowy and Tracey won the first sets of their matches in the second and third flights, respectively, before play was called.
