PHILADELPHIA – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced the selection of All-Region Teams for the 2025 season, Saint Joseph's senior Bella Miceli earning a spot on the second team in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

The Redding, Conn. native capped a dominant year in the Hawk defense with Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year honors, earning a First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection in the process. The senior became the second Hawk in program history to be named DPOTY, joining Suzy Herlihy's 2009 selection.

Miceli finished the season with career-highs in caused turnovers (31), ground balls (36) and draw controls (103), becoming just the second player in program history to register at least 100 draw controls in a single season. The 31 caused turnovers tied for fifth-most in single-season history. In addition to her defensive performances, Miceli scored a pair of goals on just five attempts on goal. Miceli notched 10 draw controls in the win over Rhode Island, becoming the fifth player in program history to reach double-digits in a single game. Overall, the Hawk defense allowed 10 or fewer goals in nine of 10 conference games on the season en route to a program-best 9-1 record in Atlantic 10 play.

The three-year starter wrapped up her stellar career with 73 caused turnovers in her career, ranking fifth-most in program history. Miceli finished her career 10th all-time with 69 career appearances for the Hawks, finishing third on the leaderboard with 185 career draw controls.
