Saint Joseph's University and St. Joe's Athletics is seeking a new Hawk mascot to uphold one of the greatest traditions in college basketball! All full-time Saint Joseph's University undergraduate students in good academic standing are eligible to apply.
Saint Joseph's University and St. Joe's Athletics is seeking a new Hawk mascot to uphold one of the greatest traditions in college basketball! All full-time Saint Joseph's University undergraduate students in good academic standing are eligible to apply.
One student will be selected to perform the duties of the Hawk during the 2025-26 academic year. The student will be assigned to work directly with the men's basketball team. Additionally, the student will be asked to represent Saint Joseph's University and St. Joe's Athletics at functions other than basketball.
All applicants must submit the following to be considered for the role of the Hawk…
- The Hawk Mascot Application
- A current resume
- A brief video demonstrating your overall school spirit and "flaptitude"
- A letter of reference from a current Saint Joseph's faculty or staff member
- Letters of reference should be submitted directly to Lauren Hanos (lhanos@sju.edu) by the faculty or staff member of your choosing prior to application deadline
