Women’s Lacrosse Earns #2 Seed at Atlantic 10 Tournament

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse team earned a spot in the semifinals, earning a first-round bye as the No. 2 seed at the Atlantic 10 Championships next week in Richmond, Va.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse team earned a spot in the semifinals, earning a first-round bye as the No. 2 seed at the Atlantic 10 Championships next week in Richmond, Virginia.
 
The six-team, single-elimination tournament begins Thursday, May 1 at Richmond, and will conclude with the championship final on Sunday, May 4. Saint Joseph's earned an opening round bye into the semifinals after posting a 9-1 record against A-10 competition and a 10-7 record overall. The Hawks begin their championship quest at 3:00 pm on Friday versus the winner of the No. 3 Davidson and No. 6 VCU first-round matchup
 
On the other side of the bracket, UMass was crowned the regular season champion and earned the top seed in the A-10 Championship. The Minutewomen face the victors of the first-round matchup between No. 4 Richmond and No. 5 St. Bonaventure.
 
The title game of the A-10 Championship is slated for Sunday, May 4 at 12 p.m. All games of the A-10 Championship will be streamed live on ESPN+.
