Mazzotta continued his strong form last week, netting three goals across two matches. The Italian midfielder played the full 90 minutes in both contests, capping a 3-1 victory over Loyola (Md.) with the final strike before recording his first career brace in a 2-0 shutout of Duquesne that secured the Hawks' first conference win of the season. Mazzotta closed the week tied for the Atlantic 10 lead in goals with five.

Perlaza anchored the backline with 179 minutes at center back across two matches. The graduate defender delivered the game-winning goal in the 3-1 victory over Loyola (Md.), his first goal as a Hawk. He followed by helping lock down a 2-0 shutout of Duquesne, limiting an offense that entered the matchup averaging nearly two goals per game to just two shots on target.

Jennings went 2-0 in net last week, stopping six shots while allowing just one goal across two matches. The redshirt junior matched his season high with four saves in a 3-1 win over Loyola (Md.) and followed with two more in a 2-0 Atlantic 10 shutout of Duquesne, marking his second clean sheet of the season.

Saint Joseph's continues Atlantic 10 play on Saturday, October 4, traveling to Davidson for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
