Women’s Soccer Completes Road Weekend

RICHMOND, Va. - The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team wrapped up a road weekend with  trip to Central Virginia. In an evenly matched contest, the Hawks fell to VCU, 2-0.

RICHMOND, Va. - The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team wrapped up a road weekend with  trip to Central Virginia. In an evenly matched contest, the Hawks fell to VCU, 2-0.

BY THE NUMBERS

  • Shots on goal in the first half were even at 2-2.
  • Each team had eight corners.
  • Peyton Radwanski made five saves for the Hawks.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Scoreless through nearly the entire first half, VCU got on the board in the 38th minute.
  • The Rams doubled the lead in the 63rd minute.
  • Radwanski kept SJU in the contest in striking distance, making four second half saves.
