Deuce Jones Signs with Saint Joseph's
PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's men's basketball team continues to build its 2025-26 roster with the addition of 2024-25 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year Deuce Jones.
Jones comes to the Hawks following a season at La Salle and has three years of eligibility remaining.
Last season Jones appeared in all 33 games for the Explorers, making 20 starts, averaging 12.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game. A seven-time A-10 Rookie of the Week, Jones improved his numbers in conference play, scoring 14.3 a contest.
The Trenton, N.J. native recorded double figures in 20 contests during the year and topped the 20-point mark seven times. He had a career-best 27 points against the Hawks in the regular season finale on March 8.
A three-star recruit out of St. Thomas Aquinas, Jones was a First Team All-State honoree as a senior and the No. 7 prospect in the state of New Jersey.
