ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Saint Joseph's Hanna Mitchell and Allie Gesztesi competed for the women's golf team in the opening round of the Navy Invitational on Saturday.

• Mitchell posted a round of 96 and is tied for 49th.
• Gesztesi shot 102 and is in 52nd place.
• The pair of Hawks combined for a score of 198 as St. Joe's stands in ninth place as a team.
• Boston University leads the nine-team field by a stroke after posting a score of 299.
• Amy Han of Boston University and Columbia's Sarah Shao are tied atop the individual leaderboard at 71.
• The Navy Invitational is being held at the par-72 U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club (6,084 yards).
