Men’s Tennis Topped by Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team played its last road match of the regular season on Friday as the Hawks fell to Richmond, 4-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Othman Bezzaz and Ernesto Ruy were a game away from victory in the first doubles flight, but the Spiders clinched the point with wins in the second and third flights.
• Matthew Dubas and Bezzaz led in the third set in the fourth and fifth singles flights, respectively, when play was halted after the Spiders clinched the overall match victory. Ernesto Ruy also took the first set of his match in the second flight.
HAWK TALK
"A tough loss today for the guys," head coach Jeff Puhan said. "We put ourselves in position to win this match; every match was a battle. Tomorrow we have another opportunity to regroup going into the Atlantic 10 Championship."

The Hawks will wrap up the regular season on Saturday at home against Fordham.
