Women's Golf Opens Season With Strong First Round At Bucknell Invitational
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Rookie Olivia Kury paced the Saint Joseph's women's golf team as the Hawks opened their 2025-26 season on Friday at the Bucknell Invitational.
How It Happened
• Playing in her first collegiate round, Kury posted a round of 79 and is tied for 35th.
• Freshman Mariana Forero posted a score of 82 in her first round as a collegiate golfer and is tied for 61st.
• Hanna Mitchell and freshman Sienna Smith are both tied for 74th as each shot 85.
• Rookie Ruby Haloukas rounded out the Hawks' lineup with a first-round score of 90 and is tied for 93rd place.
• As a team, the Hawks shot 331 and are in 15th place in the 19-team field.
• Bucknell leads the field by five strokes after posting a four-person score of 297.
• Duquesne's Katie Fodale and Bucknell's Katherine Vice are tied atop the individual leaderboard at 72.
• The Bucknell Invitational is being held at the par-70 Bucknell Golf Club (5,939 yards).
