Split Meet Weekend Wraps Up for Men’s Track
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's men's track team completed a split meet weekend on evening at the Bison Outdoor Challenge after a splitting action on Saturday both at Bucknell and at the Oscar Moore Invitational hosted by Rowan University.

SATURDAY TRACK RESULTS (Bison Outdoor Challenge)
- Ian Romea took to the track to start the day for the Hawks at Bucknell in the open 5000m, finishing with a time of 16:03.56.
- A trio of Hawks raced in the invitational portion of the 1500m, led by Josh Forrest's eighth-place finish with a time of 3:50.50. Michael Glavin took 13th after yielding a 3:51.06 time, while Noah Deckert recorded a top-half finish after earning a 3:54.56 mark.
- In the invitational of the 5000m, Colton Johnson produced a time of 14:48.55.
- Anthony Gargani rounded out the day's action in the 10000m, setting a time of 30:10.09.
SATURDAY TRACK RESULTS (Oscar Moore Invitational)
- A group of 12 mid-distance runners competed in the Hawks' only event at the invitational, including a sweep of the top-eight finishes in the 800m on Saturday.
- Freshman Tommy Silvester led the Crimson and Gray with the top time of 1:52.86, besting Jayden Greene's second-place finish by .40s. Graham Phillips earned third place with a time of 1:53.63, while Tomek Przybylak (1:53.92) snuck under the 1:54.00 mark to place fourth. A trio of freshman placed fifth through seventh place, led by a 1:54.35 time from Chris Manzo. Elijah Smith clocked in at 1:55.02, while Tom Barausky rounded out the rookie trio with a time of 1:55.66. Joshua Thaler finished the sweep of the scoring positions with his eight-place time of 1:56.82. Anton Bovone recorded a time just outside of a top 10 finish with a 1:57.73 effort to take 11th. Immanuel Rota-Talarico (1:59.18), Colin Donahoe (2:03.18) and Matt Carnes (2:04.67) all rounded out the group with top-half finishes.
SUNDAY TRACK RESULTS (Bison Outdoor Challenge)
- The Hawks finished back-to-back-to-back in their respective heat to open the final day in the mile. Tommy Johnson produced an overall finish of 14th with his 4:24.72 effort, Vincent Twomey taking 15th with a 4:25.31 effort. Will Rau recorded a top-half finish with a time of 4:29.69.
- Regent Walden finished with the best time of three Hawks in the 400m, crossing the finish in 50.51s. James Mackey Jr. followed behind with a 50.65s effort, while Jake Carrubba timed in at 50.89s.
- Benjamin Henry cruised to a first-place finish in his heat, taking third place overall in the 100m with a time of 10.54s. Adam Petersen finished below the 11-second mark with a time of 10.99s while rookie Henry Peklo tallied an 11.14 time.
- Luke Noss registered a top 10 finish in the 400m hurdles, taking a time of 54.51s in the event.
- Noss also led the Hawks in the 200m, posting a time of 22.03s. Petersen finished just .05s behind with a 22.08s finish. Henry (22.30s) and Carrubba (22.35s) also finished with just .05s between the two, while Peklo rounded out the group with a 22.43s finish.
- All five Hawks competing in the 3000m finished in the top nine of the event, including a facility record set by freshman Brendan Hefferan with his time of 8:23.74. Matt Hoffman finished in second with a time of 8:29.04 while Ryan Cichocki rounded out the top three with an 8:29.94 finish. Aidan Doherty's time of 8:36.76 was good for fifth place, while Dawson Baptiste recorded a ninth-place time of 8:41.43.

The Hawks stay local next weekend, taking part in the Paul Donahue Invitational hosted by Widener. Action begins on Friday, April 18.
