Shehadi Named A-10 Offensive Player of the Week
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Jayda Shehadi of the Saint Joseph's women's soccer team has been named the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 7, 2025 and as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
In just 29 minutes off the bench, Shehadi scored both goals in a 2-1 Hawks victory against city rival, Temple. She delivered the first goal of the match in the 73rd minute, rising above the mixer to head in a free kick, giving SJU a 1-0 lead. Four minutes later, with game game knotted at 1-1, another free kick was sent in and went through the hands of the keeper.
