Men’s Golf Ties For Fourth at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial

HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Saint Joseph's men's golf team finished tied for fourth place, and senior Christian Matt tied for eighth individually as the Hawks capped play at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial on Sunday.

How It Happened
• As a team, the Hawks shot 283-293-297/873 (+9) to finish tied for fourth in the 14-team field.
• Matt carded a three-round score of 70- 76-71/217 (+1) to pace St. Joe's and tie for eighth place.
• Freshman Michael Henry, Jr. finished tied for 21st in his college debut with a score of 69-71-80/220 (+4).
• Newcomer George Williamson, Jr. and junior Noah Moelter finished tied for 27th with scores of 72- 74-76/222 (+6) and 73-75-74/222 (+6), respectively.
• Rookie Sam Feeney capped his collegiate debut with a score of 72-75-78/225 (+9) to tied for 42nd.
• Playing as an individual, Tyler Leyden posted a three-round score of 85-73-76/234 (+18) and tied for 80th.
• Lehigh won the team title by seven strokes at 285-288-283/856 (-8).
• Lehigh's Noah Zyung captured medalist honors by six strokes with a score of 68-73-66/207 (-9).
• The Alex Lagowitz Memorial was held at the par-72 Seven Oaks Golf Club (7,125 yards).
