Women’s Track Completes Split Weekend
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's track team wrapped up action on Sunday evening at the Bison Outdoor Challenge after a split meet Saturday saw the Hawks at Bucknell and at the Oscar Moore Invitational hosted by Rowan University.

SATURDAY TRACK RESULTS (Bison Outdoor Challenge)
- Maura Keane opened the Hawks' afternoon at Bucknell in the 5000m, finishing sixth in the event with a time of 17:54.51.
- Ava Curry produced a 4:31.66 time in the invitational portion of the 1500m, placing in the top 20 of the deep field.
SATURDAY TRACK RESULTS (Oscar Moore Invitational)
- Majken Lutzen led a large contingency of mid-distance runners at Rowan University, winning the 800m with a time of 2:11.10. The sophomore outpaced Tess Crossan by .70s, Crossan finishing second in the event that saw five Hawks finish in the top seven. Quinn O'Brien made it a sweep on the podium with a time of 2:12.10 to take third place. Less than a second separated Alexis Westawski (2:15.64) and Gemma Chevoor (2:16.47) as the two took sixth and seventh, respectively. Samantha Korck was the sixth Hawk to earn a top 10 finish with her time of 2:18.41 yielding the final spot in the top 10. Alyssa Bloxton followed shortly after with a 2:20.15 time to finish 13th. Carolyn Smith (2:24.44) and Alexis Doherty (2:24.74) rounded out the group with top-half finishes.
SUNDAY TRACK RESULTS (Bison Outdoor Challenge)
- Danielle Juliano led a trio of Hawks to open the second day of action in the mile, placing ninth after finishing with a time of 5:21.35. Payton Kochanski recorded a 5:27.78 finish before Carlyn Segrave-Daly rounded the trio out with a 5:40.12 time.
- Olivia Beddow nearly recorded a sub-60 second 400 time, leading a group of Hawks with her time of 1:00.44. Alessandra Schuster followed behind with a 1:01.24 time while Rylee Barnhart crossed the finish in 1:04.10.
- Sammy Walz earned a fourth-place finish in the 100m, clocking in with a time of 11.94s to finish just .03s off of second. Cecilia Abruzzo registered a time of 12.62s, finishing third in her heat.
- Tess Collins finished the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:10.02.
- Walz returned to the track to compete in the 200m, leading a contingency of Hawks in the event with a ninth-place time of 24.71s. Abruzzo also made the return with a 26.09s effort while Beddow time in at 26.74s in her second event of the day. Schuster rounded out the event, clocking in at 27.45s.
- In the final event of the evening, Grace Rudder paced her way to a second-place finish in the 3000m with a time of 10:15.72. Katie Sparks earned seventh with a time of 10:41.45.
UP NEXT
The Hawks stay local next weekend, taking part in the Paul Donahue Invitational hosted by Widener. Action begins on Friday, April 18.
